Portfolio - Minnesota Department of Natural Resources Staff Photographer
All photos in this portfolio are property of the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources. As staff photographer for the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources since 1998, I have experience working outdoors in all kinds of weather. I’ve hiked in the thickest forests and through vast prairies, shimmied down riverbanks, climbed jagged rocks, worked in small boats on big bodies of water and even crawled through an underground mine - all while wielding a camera, or two. My assignments include working with a wide range of people including natural resource specialists, children and families.
Blandings turtles are a threatened species in Minnesota. The biologists attached a transmitter on this turtle so they can monitor its behavior and movements.
